Twin
Productions from here in SA ran a contest to determine who Texas
metal fans wanted to open for DEVILDRIVER/GOD FORBID/KATAKLYSM/SUICIDE
SILENCE at the White Rabbit in San Antonio. Angerkill worked
hard and won the contest.
A day or
two later, Devildriver cancelled the rest of their tour to jump on
Ozzfest. We have been told that God Forbid will still come to
SA in the fall and we will be billed on that show.
The
response backing AK was overwhelming. Thank you all for the
complementary things you said in your comments and we especially
thank all the regional bands that came to our side. The Austin
music scene really supported us and wanted to see us granted that
exposure. We would have lost without your help.
Thank
you, TEXAS METAL BANDS. There's no better metal scene in the
fucking world. Period.
