If you haven't
heard by now, AK has teamed up with fellow SA
metal veterans DEAdpOOL to produce our own
shows in an attempt to make our SA shows quality
events. The first
featured Course of Ruin from Austin and SA's
own Americult. It took place on 2/23 at
The Venue and was a success! The next is
set for Bonds 007 for April 26 and will
feature fellow SA veterans Lokey and Austin's
own Shrapnel in addition to AK and DP.
AK will play a FREE
show at Rock City Icehouse, 6406 N IH35 Suite
1100 in Austin, TX during SXSW. Bands
are from across the state of Texas and start
at 2:45 pm, going until 1 am. Angerkill
performs a 30 minute set at 7:15.

The bands will put
together a series of shows in an effort to
return to the DIY roots San Antonio bands
embraced back when the SA local metal scene

We had a great,
yet challenging shoot with Gonzo Pozo of The
Scene. Broken sunglasses, a dented
pickup truck, red nail polish on my dress out
the door, and a fear of wasps. We
persevered. Take a look.
Angerkill raised money a while
back to purchase a tombstone for our friend
Eric who passed in 2002. Thanks to your
contributions, we were able to get it done.
